Meet Certara at the Quantitative Systems Pharmacology Conference 2026

The Quantitative Systems Pharmacology Conference (QSPC) 2026 will spotlight emerging computational and experimental approaches in quantitative systems pharmacology (QSP) and mechanism- or physiologically-based pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics (PK/PD). This meeting continues the tradition of QSP-focused events held in the Netherlands every four years since 1990.

As a global leader in model-informed drug development, Certara is proud to be a Diamond Sponsor of QSPC 2026 and delighted to be contributing to the conversation around innovative QSP approaches.

Pre-conference workshop on Certara IQ™ – A revolutionary tool for scalable QSP modeling

Presenters: Josh Apgar, Andrew Matteson

日期: Tuesday, April 7th, 2026 | 11:30 AM – 5 PM

地点: Fletcher Wellness-Hotel Leiden (Bargelaan 180, 2333 CW Leiden, Netherlands)

日程安排:

  • 11:30 AM Registration and Lunch
  • 1 PM – 5 PM Workshop

QSP at Scale with Certara IQ

Lunch, snacks, and coffee are provided.

With hundreds of FDA and EMA submissions supported by QSP models, QSP has finally come of age. The now-proven high return of investment from QSP has led to every major pharma company and a significant number of biotechs investing in QSP groups or partnering with QSP vendors. However, the vast majority of preclinical and clinical programs are still not supported by QSP. At this point, we see this not as a limitation of the value of QSP but as a challenge for implementing QSP at scale. This workshop will unveil Certara IQ™, an innovative QSP environment that enables the scaling of QSP from only supporting a small minority of projects to supporting the entire pipeline. We will focus on four key decision points in the drug development pipeline:

  • New Target Feasibility
  • Determining Best in Class Properties
  • First In Human Dose Projection
  • Recommended Phase 2 Dose

For each, we will demonstrate how to use Certara IQ to efficiently answer these questions with practical examples.

Attendees should bring their laptops for this hands-on workshop. Prior to the event, you will receive an email from us to create an account in preparation for the workshop.

Register for the Certara IQ workshop

Registration to the workshop is limited to 50 people and subject to approval.

Presenters:

Josh Apgar

Joshua Apgar, PhD

VP, Head of QSP Software

Certara’s presence at QSPC

QSPC 2026 brings together leading scientists, modelers, and decision-makers from academia, industry, and regulatory agencies to:

  • Explore emerging computational QSP approaches
  • Discuss advances in mechanism- and physiologically-based PK/PD
  • Share insights through plenary lectures, poster presentations, and networking sessions

Join us at the booth #1 (Apr 8 – 10): We will be hosting live demos of Certara IQ at our booth. Join us to watch the software in action!
