Ichiko Petrie, PharmD

Senior Research Scientist

Ichiko Petrie is a Senior Research Scientist in Drug Interaction Solutions at Certara with more than 10 years of experience in the field of drug interactions, with expertise in pharmacogenetics and clinical drug interactions. She earned her PharmD from the University of Washington. Before joining the Drug Interaction Solutions team, she held roles as a pharmacist and scientific editor across a variety of healthcare and scientific settings.

Xiaolin Xu, PhD

Research Scientist

Xiaolin Xu is a Research Scientist in Drug Interaction Solutions at Certara. Her work focuses on curating preclinical and clinical drug interaction data for the Drug Interaction Database (DIDB) and performing data analyses to support drug interaction research. She earned her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from the University of Washington, where her research investigated the impact of pharmaceutical formulations on the pharmacokinetics and metabolism of combination drug therapies.

Arne van Schanke, PhD

Arne van Schanke is Senior Director, Early Development, and has been with Certara since 2014. Arne has two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including roles at MSD, Organon, and for numerous biotech companies via Certara working phases from drug discovery to late-phase development. Arne is a pragmatic biomedical scientist who evolved from biochemical interactions and cancer research into drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics expert and translational modeler working in a broad array of indications including Oncology, Virology, and Fertility, and modalities from small molecules and peptides to antibody drug conjugates and oligonucleotides.
