The biopharmaceutical industry is experiencing a critical stage of innovation as teams invest in in silico approaches to virtualize trials and accelerate time to market. For Certara, this innovation is converging between generative AI and quantitative systems pharmacology (QSP). As demand for QSP grows, it presents a unique opportunity for pharmaceutical companies to rethink their approach to building, maintaining, and reporting on results identified within a mechanistic model.

Our Certara experts, Sean McGee and Joshua Apgar will deliver an educational session on approaches for generative AI within QSP model life cycle, including:

  • Adding and summarizing evidence to support mechanistic models
  • Code generation for model design
  • Automating report generation with specialized prompts and templates

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about the latest innovations within the QSP space!

Joshua Apgar, PhD
VP of QSP Software, Applied BioSimulations
Sean Headshots
Sean McGee, MS
Director of Product, Certara
Sean McGee is currently the Director of Product at Certara, working within the Certara artificial intelligence (AI) group. Throughout his career, Mr. McGee has supported the strategy and go-to-market motions of various software technologies, including Benchling’s laboratory informatics platform and the AI and molecular modeling and simulation offerings for Dassault Systèmes BIOVIA brand. In his role with Certara, Mr. McGee guides the development of new AI-focused use cases which maximize the benefits of the Certara AI and broader company portfolio. Mr. McGee completed his Master of Science at the University of Notre Dame exploring the scientific and commercial applications of medical devices designed to aid in the identification of child abuse.
